Notes on the Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili sa kwarto.MP4 video - How To Exract:
The original MP4 video is a ten-part multi-part RAR archive, 938 MB in size and 43 minutes and 11 seconds in length. The video itself was apparently taken in a dark hotel room with a solitary lamp as light source. HOWEVER, at around 22 minutes and 55 seconds (22:55) into the video AFTER Hayden Kho (HK) and Katrina Halili (KH) had finished whatever it was they were doing Katrina Halili turned off the lamp. At approximately 23:58 HK turned the lamp back on to fiddle with his mobile phone; after a few seconds at approximately 24:27 he also turned off the lamp, and that’s it. The rest of the video shows nothing in the room but pitch darkness all the way to the end. In other words, only 55.8% of the video is watchable.
Since we don’t have the resources and the time to split the video only the first six archive parts are included here, which after extraction will constitute the watchable 55.8% above-mentioned, or ~601 MB.
How To Extract:
1. If you already have WinRAR and had integrated it into your context menu skip this part and go on to No. 2.
You need the later versions of WinRAR to extract the interrupted archive video. Open WinRAR. In Options of the main menu click Settings. The Settings window of WinRAR will appear. Click the Integration tab–it’s the last tab at the right. Under “Shell Integration” check “Integrate WinRAR into shell” and then click the “Context Menu items…” button just below. Under Context menu items you can choose the items to display in the Explorer context menu of Windows. Make sure you check “Extract files.”
2. Now that WinRAR is integrated into your context menu, right-click on any of the archive parts of the video file ( Hayden.Kho.and.Katrina.Halili.640×480.part01.rar, and so on ). Move your cursor down to WinRAR and its submenu will appear. Click “Extract files…” The “Extraction path and options” menu of WinRAR will appear. In the General tab, under “Miscellaneous” check “Keep broken files.” Click the “Save settings” button.
3. Next merely choose the destination folder in which you want your extracted video placed, and you could probably wing your way from there.
During and immediately after extraction, warning boxes may appear informing you that part 7 and the rest of the parts of the archive are needed to fully extract the video, and that the file is corrupted. Simply disregard and continue. Since you have configured WinRAR to “Keep broken files” it will extract all six parts included here into the folder of your choice, and that video will properly play with VLC media player or with Windows media player if you have the H.264 codec installed in your system.
